Professional Wanted for Voluntary Role
Thursday, July 17th, 2008Kent Scouts is currently looking for a new County Chair. They would like to hear from people with a business or management background interested in using their skills in a voluntary capacity that would ultimately help young people in Kent achieve their full potential. The role includes:
·Chairing trustee and executive meetings
·Working closely with and supporting the County Commissioner
·Being a full and active member of the executive committee
Kent Scouts provides fun and adventurous activities for more than 14,000 girls and boys aged 6 to 25 in Kent and is run by more than 3000 volunteers.
The exact nature of the role would depend on the skills and time commitment of the individual. It is important for this role to be IT literate. Most of the meetings are held in the Gillingham area during the evening.
