Direct marketing vacancies in Kent
Sunday, July 6th, 2008Medway Council, based in Chatham, is to improving its direct marketing. It’s never been more important to understand the council’s customers better – while some council services, like waste collection and recycling, are universal, many require a more targetted approach to marketing.
Medway’s leisure centres, golf courses, theatres, festivals and events are just some of the areas that will benefit from better direct marketing and customer data analysis.
The council has created two new jobs to help do this, and is now recruiting for a Direct and Digital Marketing Manager and a Marketing Data Analyst.
The manager job will be responsible for a small team that will deliver direct marketing, email and SMS marketing, data analysis, as well as being responsible for managing and developing the council’s portfolio of websites.
The data analyst will be heavily involved in developing a customer segmentation and profiling system as well as overseeing marketing data quality and producing analysis reports to support the work of the marketing team.
