Salary: £20-26k subject to experience
Objectives:
To develop and implement the marketing plan for all of IBS’s activities, publications, events and consulting. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Marketing Executive will have overall responsibility for the marketing function.
IBS Publishing:
IBS is an international publisher specialising in banking systems and operations sector. Producing weekly and monthly, news led, online and printed publications plus a range of internationally renowned market reports and industry guides; we depend heavily on our web based presentation and direct marketing to inform readers and market our products to a worldwide audience. Due to internal re-organisation of responsibilities we seek a marketing executive to implement our marketing strategy and drive forward a successful and well-respected business in the financial technology arena.
Responsibilities:
1. Management of multimedia marketing campaigns including email and postal direct marketing, PR, online and telesales.
2. Developing the IBS websites as a marketing tool, by developing marketing content, links and SEO.
3. Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
4. Researching the competitive environment
5. Developing an integrated marketing programme across all products and individual campaigns
6. Writing and designing marketing communications in conjunction with the design department
7. Input to the identification of new product opportunities
Qualifications
The successful applicant is likely to have:
- A good university degree
- A qualification (e.g. CIM Diploma) or formal training in marketing
- Excellent communications skills
- Experience in B2B marketing
- Experience in publishing would be an additional benefit as would knowledge of financial services.
