Kent CIM attends forthcoming Kent 2020 exhibition
Wednesday, February 7th, 2007The Kent Branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing will be exhibiting at the largest business exhibition and conference that Kent has ever seen. The event called ‘Kent 2020 - 07′ takes place on Thursday 26 April at the Kent Showground at Detling and is likely to have an attendance of over 3,000 business people from all over the South East. A team from the Kent CIM Committee will be on hand to take any questions and offer advice to delegates.
Ian Lockyer, Chairman of the Kent Chartered Institute of Marketing said,’ It is really important that the Kent CIM is present at this event. Marketing is a major contributor to wealth generation and as branch we should be on hand to give help and advice where needed.’
Business Link is organising the event in association with Kent County Council. Last year the event called Kent 2020 Vision had more than 300 exhibiting companies with over 3,000 business people attending. This year’s event will feature four keynote speakers including Edward de Bono - who enjoys almost legendary status as the father of ‘lateral thinking’ and the world’s leading authority on creativity.
Attendance is free which includes admittance to the business exhibition, access to business advice from public, private and voluntary providers, information on the county’s key development opportunities and projects and free workshops on important business growth issues - including the 2012 Olympics, marketing, technology and leadership.
