Christ Church University helps business to get fit for the future!

Christ Church University is throwing open its doors in March 2007 for a very different business experience. In partnership with Canterbury City Council’s Local Economy Team the University’s Hall Place Enterprise Centre based in Harbledown, Canterbury is launching its ‘Healthy Business, Growing Business’ programme for businesses in East Kent who want to make sure they are on the right track for future growth.

The programme will consist of six evening workshops each covering a specific topic of real importance to business: Finance, Customers, Organisation, the Workplace, the Workforce and vitally, the Future! With a keynote speaker from the local area, workshops, a health check available on-line prior to each event and representation on the evening for major business support organisations, the programme is targeted at business with five employees or more who are motivated to improve and grow.

The ‘Healthy Business, Growing Business’ programme starts at 5.45pm at Hall Place on Monday 19th March with ‘Healthy Finance’, and subsequent sessions are on the third Monday evening of each month until September (not August). Each session cost £25 including an evening buffet, or £20 concession (for members of local chambers, the Federation of Small Business and Hall Place’s own Small Business Forum). For businesses attending all six sessions the cost is £135, or £108 for concessions.
