There is a chocolate theme…

By rebecca

Well done to Cadburys’ for their new advert…you know the one with the two school children.

I am not sure it beats the orginal gorilla playing on the drums (phil collins version)…what do you think ? Personally, I would order them

  • Airport runway with the Queen music
  • Gorilla with Phil Collins
  • New school children one
  • and finally Gorilla again but I can’t remember the other music that goes with it…sorry

Anyone agree or disagree?

That aside, I would like to tell you about my other food love and advert love..Marmite and Paddington bear…

Anyway, enough from me, anyone else got any great food and advert loves ?

The Marks & Spencers series of adverts need to be in the list somewhere, surely?! Admittedly they are potentially looking a bit tired now and been copied by other brands (which in itself is arguably a sign of success) but the original concept was a great one.

Good point, yes the M&S adverts are good, although as you point out a little tired and copied. Now completely of the chocolate and food adverts, how about the Audi ..”take me riding in the car, car…” …marks out of ten ? I am going high 8/10…

I’ll join you on that one, great advert and great positioning – the 4×4 which isn’t a box. When I initially saw it (the full length version) I wondered “what the ‘eck is that?”, but the shorter version really grows on you. Want to see the full-length version again now. Wonder if iTunes has the song for download…
